People on the tape should feel guilty because what they have done. They have caused Hannah to commit suicide and make these tapes to make people feel shameful and guilty because of what they have done to her. That's not the main reason she released those the tapes. The main reason was to tell people her 13 sides of the story about why she committed suicide. For example, from the cassette 3B, Hannah got her results from the list from the valentines, she got a phone call from one of Clay’s friends Marcus, Marcus wanted to go on a date with Hannah at the diner. Hannah was the first one to get there and she had to wait for more than about 30 minutes before Marcus finally decided to show up. When he showed up, she sat down on a bench with Hannah. Marcus started feeling her up her thigh. That got Hannah mad. She finally got up and she left Marcus down in the dumps. Marcus felt guilty and now he knows he is one of the reasons she committed suicide.
